The Cabaret
Introduction:Though broken and random, these scattered porcelain figurines appeal to me greatly. Inspired by the ancient Chinese cabaret consisting of musicians and dancers, I tried to reconstruct the scene. Wood may function as a body, paper can function as limbs and instruments for the musicians, while lead wire can function as a connection. Instead of directly resculpting the fragments, connecting them with multiple modern materials endow them with the value of history in a thousand years.
A tiger
Men on the toilet. I always wonder if it makes any difference for a philosopher to ponder on his couch or ponder on his toilet. While I always come up with ideas on the latter one, this contemplative figure naturally appears when I have my sponge and scissors in hand, on my toilet. Hopefully his cigarette can make him look more relaxed.

Introduction: As words flow between pages and pages, knowledge is expressed and ideas emerge. Colored shapes eliminate the characters 'tiny distinctions in figures but stress their common attribute as messenger. The arrangement of these shapes creates spaces in which knowledge freely flows between content.

Introduction: The work features the power and impact of artists when raising the public's awareness about marine pollution. Due to global warming, the polar and antarctic animals are losing their habitats. Different artists reconstruct glaciers of different forms to shelter the animals.
Inside and out

The pursuit of freedom, love and beauty still flows in our veins. Muse reappears every time the music is played. She travels inside and out, in the microphones on stage, in the silhouettes of steets, in the quiet night with flickering lights and of course between those loud, cheering audience when the show comes to an end.

I portrayed myself in a dramatic moment of preparing props for the coming performance. While dusting the golden mask is only one part of the whole design, I still carried it out with great dedication out of my belief that every element in my world should be respected. As a designer for games and digital arts, I am responsible for my characters, stories and so on. This portrait should perfectly demonstrate that while manipulating with the extreme power of creation, I also pour love and caring into every detail of my work.
The figure appears gigantic, extending beyond the theatre seats and ends by the stage. I hold my breath while dusting the mask. The inclination and the proportional contrast of the figure along with theatrical lighting enhances the visual impact while declaring the central object. I also present myself and the environment in different styles. I keep myself and the silk realistic while the seats and the stage are drawn in a illustration style. This should enrich the visual elements and strengthen the contrast.
